Stitches If Needed

Healing After a Tooth Extraction
Healing time can vary depending on the type of extraction and your body’s natural healing. Here’s what to expect:
- First 1–2 Weeks: It’s normal to feel some soreness, swelling, or minor bleeding during the first few days. Taking it easy and following your aftercare plan will help.
- Complete Healing: Most people heal fully in a few weeks. Your gum will close over the area, and any stitches will either dissolve or be removed at a follow-up visit.
